Installation of aluminum fence

Very often when choosing fences people stop just on the fences made of aluminum. The main advantages of these fences are ease of installation, durability, affordability. But the main advantage is still the absolute ease of installation. There are a few nuances of aluminum fences, you should read these rules before starting to install the fence.

To install an aluminum fence, you need to have poles and gates, because without them you can neither install a fence, nor enter the territory of the site. There are several types of posts to be installed: end posts, corner posts and linear posts. To install a fence, you need to stake out your fence line, while not forgetting the corners and gates. Tape or string the perimeter where the fence is installed. Beforehand, of course, you need to decide on the size and height of the fence, order the desired color and size.
Do not forget to take into account the slope of the fence and begin to install the posts.

First you need to dig a hole of the required depth and diameter. Backfill the resulting hole with about 6 inches of gravel. Secure the posts by pouring the pre-prepared concrete, and you can begin installing the aluminum panels. The main thing is to take your time, be patient and you will succeed. Once the concrete hardens and the posts are firmly embedded in the ground, you can begin to install the fence. Attach each part of the fence gradually to the post first, and then attach all the subsequent parts to the previous ones.

Once all parts of the aluminum fence are installed along the perimeter of the site, you can begin to install the gate. Don’t forget to check the layout guide for the pivoting direction of your gate. Then install the hinges on the pre-installed gate frame, use the screws that come with the kit. It is advisable to do all these manipulations with someone else’s help, it will be easier. Center the gate in the opening and insert 1 screw in each hinge.

Once the gate has swung well, place the remaining screws in the hinges.
Do not use the gate until the concrete around the gate post is fully cured. This usually takes about one day.
