Throughout the years, Malibu has been a popular destination for people looking to relax by the ocean or escape the hustle and bustle. Malibu is also an iconic place for being the backdrop for countless movies and television shows. A customer living in this coastline city recently contacted us to install a new fence and gate.
Reasons for the Work
Our customer in Malibu had an iron fence and gate that had been around for years, but it was beginning to rust and degrade due to the salty air from the sea. Over the years, the cost and hassle of constantly repainting the gate and iron fence have been frustrating.
The Customer’s Needs
He was looking for a strong, durable, and rust-resistant fence and gate. He wanted something that would be able to withstand the harsh coastal environment while still looking would look good. He wanted a product that would last for years without worrying about maintenance or rust.
Stages of the Project
Having evaluated the needs of our Malibu client, we customized an aluminum fence, a pedestrian gate and an aluminum siding gate for him. Getting the product right for the best solution that matched his needs was the first part of the project. Then our installation experts removed the old iron fence and pedestrian gate. We then laid the foundation for the new aluminum fence and gates, using concrete blocks to anchor the posts. Our installation experts then proceeded to install the main components of the new aluminum fence and gate. We also added features like decorative panels and a gate opener to give the fence and gates a finished look. Our team also installed a keyless entry system for added security.
Materials/Technologies Used
To construct the fence and gate, we used high-grade aluminum materials. The aluminum was chosen for its rust-resistant properties, as well as its strength and durability. We also used concrete blocks to anchor the posts, ensuring the fence and gate were stable and secure. The aluminum posts, panels and the whole fence and gates were painted with rust and corrosion-resistant coating to protect them from weather conditions.
