Pergola systems from Globus Gates use aluminum gutters along with beams, posts, lighting channels and U-shaped channels. For fixing the gutter, the specified hardware is this stainless #12 Tek screw, 4 in. long with a hex washer head and a sealer washer. Order exactly as many as your run needs.

Planning and fitting

Tally every fixing point along the gutter and add a few spares. With 4 in. of length, confirm it suits the gutter-to-beam joint you are building. Ask Globus Gates if your design strays from the standard setup. Work from the supplied instructions and your local building code.

Keep spares on hand

Replace the screw whenever its washer is damaged, and keep a few extra sets in your pergola hardware box for later maintenance.

Why a sealer washer?

It helps keep water from following the screw through a gutter or other wet surface.

What fastens the beam brackets?

For beam bracket joints, use #14 x 1 in. stainless screws.
