The frame works with the Universal Slat Adapter. Posts and latches are bought separately.

Why this combination works

The boxed Profile 40 4 x 6 ft DIY walk gate kit with a 3/8 in. gap is meant for walk-through openings such as a side-yard entrance or service path. Profile 40 is a 4 in. horizontal slat, so the gate shows fewer lines than a narrow profile. With 3/8 in. spacing, it looks mostly solid from an angle while still passing air and light. Need zero gap? All parts are 6063-T6 aluminum under an AAMA 2604 super-durable powder coat, so there is nothing to rot, warp or repaint.

Choosing posts

Options include a Hinge Post + L-Side Post pair for wall-to-wall openings, the 3.15 post for wall or footing, the 3 in. HD post for concrete footing and the 4 in. HD post as a standalone post. The 2.75 2-way post is meant for gates up to 3 ft wide or wall mount, so check with Globus Gates before using it here.
