A wider walk gate in one box

Four feet is tight for garden carts and equipment. This boxed Profile 40 kit moves up to a 6 ft by 6 ft single swing leaf and ships the frame, slats and end plugs together. Horizontal 4 inch slats with a 3/8 in. space between them screen the view while letting air and some light through, and the lines match horizontal slat fencing nearby.

What arrives

• Frame kit (6' x 6', DIY only) with a vertical member and its cap, upper and lower horizontals, a gate stop and a pair of heavy duty hinges. Compatible with the Universal Slat Adapter.
• Gate slat box: 16 Profile 40 slats, 0.047 wall, pre-cut to 62 in.
• 7/8 plugs for a tidy slat end that keeps debris out

Everything is 6063-T6 aluminum finished in AAMA 2604 super-durable powder coat. The 4×6 version uses the same slat count and wall, so gates of both widths look alike on one property.

Posts and mounting

No posts are included. Mounting between two walls? Use the 2x2in hinge and L-side post set. In the ground, pick the 3 in. HD post for concrete footing or the 4 in. HD standalone post. The 3.15 post covers wall and footing. The 2-way post is meant for gates up to 3 ft wide or wall mount, so skip it for this width unless Globus Gates says otherwise.
