Why a gate needs a stopper

A gate that swings or rolls too far will eventually hit something: a wall, a post or the latch. Over time that impact loosens hinges and damages hardware. The Gate stopper sets a firm end point, absorbing the gate's momentum and keeping it aligned so it closes smoothly.

Installing it

Find where the gate should stop, usually its natural resting point.
Mark the spot on the ground or on the post.
Drill pilot holes.
Line up the stopper with the gate's path.
Fix it with the bolts or screws.
Open and close the gate a few times and adjust.

With basic tools, the job usually takes less than 15 minutes.

Built to last

Cheap plastic or thin steel stoppers can crack or bend. This one is made for metal gate systems and holds up to repeated use with little to no upkeep.
