Full privacy, one panel at a time
If blocking the view matters more than airflow, pick this kit. Each set builds one 8 ft by 6 ft panel of Alu 60 T&G fence, and the interlocking edges leave no gaps. Buying per panel keeps counting simple: tally panels, add closing posts, and each panel gets identical parts.
Three boxes per panel
- Slat box: 11 Alu 60 T&G boards, 8 ft
- Post box (8 ft): one 2-way post, its press cap, 14 L-brackets for boards and rail, four base spacers (1 in. or 2 in.) with screw bush, and eight black #12 x 2 in. self-tapping screws
- Top rail: one 8 ft piece
No separate spacer pack is included. If you want a particular gap, check with Globus Gates first.
About the board
Alu 60 T&G is a 6 in. profile with a 0.047 in. wall, extruded from 6063-T6 aluminum and coated to AAMA 2604. It will not rot or warp and never needs sealing, so an occasional rinse is all the care it asks for. Black reads crisp and modern, Bronze sits well next to brick or stone, and White keeps light siding looking bright.
Posts, ends and wind
Each kit carries one post. A run needs one extra post to close the line, plus one for every end, corner or gate. For the final post in a run, the matching end post kit includes a strip that covers the unused side. Set posts in the ground or surface mount them on the 2.75 2-way baseplate, per the instructions and local code. Solid panels take more wind than open slats, so tell us if your site is elevated or exposed.
