Each heavy duty walk gate frame kit we sell is built around this 20 ft, 2x4 in. member, together with corner brackets, channel kits, a stopper and double-support hinges. Buying it by the length lets you frame a size that is not in a kit, extend a project, or swap out a damaged piece.

How much you might need

Our HD sliding gate packages combine two of these 20 ft pieces with one 12 ft piece for a 12 x 6 ft gate, and three 20 ft pieces with one 12 ft piece for an 18 x 6 ft gate. For anything else, work out the cuts from your real opening and have Globus Gates check the layout before you order.

Handling and hardware

A 20 ft piece needs space to unload, store flat and cut. Support it fully while cutting and protect the painted faces. Corners are joined with the big and small HD L brackets, and HD frames are fastened with black stainless #14 x 2 in. screws.
