Boxed 2.75 in. 2-Way Post Kit 8 ft
Use one of these boxes at each post that has panels on both sides. The 8 ft post takes panels on opposite faces and includes the brackets and base spacers to mount them.

The post that links two sections
Each 2.75 2-way post connects the bay on its left to the bay on its right, keeping a long run straight. Made from 6063-T6 aluminum and coated to the AAMA 2604 standard, it is designed for fences, wall toppers, walk gates and sliding gates, which lets one post style run through a whole property.

Prefer a different top? A flat cap with screws and a pressurized convex cap are sold separately in black.
Where it fits
It is the backbone of our boxed fence line, and both the Alu 40 and the T&G Alu 60 8x6 fence kits include it. Buying it alone lets you add bays, replace a post or build to your own layout.
- Between panels: this kit.
- At a run's end: the end post version with a cover strip.
- At a gate: suitable for wall mount on gates up to 3 ft wide. Ask about square posts for wider gates.
Spacers, sold separately
- 1/4 in. gap: pack of 32
- 3/8 in. gap: pack of 30
- 1/2 in. gap: pack of 30
Check your slat's minimum gap first. Boxed Alu 40 slats, for example, need at least 3/8 in.

Are base plates included?
No, mounting plates and anchors are separate.
Installation
Step 1
Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.
Step 2
Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.
Step 3
Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
