Made for wall-to-wall gates

Plenty of side gates sit between two walls with no room, or no need, for post holes. This kit covers that case. The hinge post carries the leaf, while the L-side post receives it on the far side. In our post options it is the wall-to-wall choice for DIY walk gates.

What is in the box

• Two 2x2 in. posts, 6 ft long: one hinge post, one L-side post
• Caps with their screws
• Baseplates, with a 3/8 by 3 in. fixing supplied as either an anchor bolt or a hex head wood screw
• Screws joining baseplate to post
• Striker plates, brackets and screws

Why aluminum against a wall

Timber posts fixed to masonry can rot at the base. These black powder-coated aluminum posts will not, and they only need a wipe now and then.
