2.75 in. 2-Way Post Spacers 3/8 in. – 30 Pack

Building a White fence, or matching the minimum gap for Alu 40 boards? These 30 spacers keep a 3/8 in. space between boards in a 2.75 2-way post, and you can get them in all three colors.

The middle spacing

Slipped between boards within a 2.75 2-way post, each spacer keeps a 3/8 in. gap from board to board. Our spacer packs offer three spacing choices, and this one sits in the middle, between the tighter 1/4 in. and the more open 1/2 in.

Why 3/8 in. is popular

It equals the smallest gap allowed for boxed 8 ft Alu 40 boards, which makes it the closest spacing for those slats. The Alu 20 6x6 and Alu 40 8x6 fence kits also use a 3/8 in. gap.

No other spacer pack comes in White, so this is the one to choose for a White fence.

Working out quantities

Your total depends on the number of board rows and the number of posts carrying them. Count board rows and post positions, then compare the total with 30 per pack. Send Globus Gates your layout if you would like us to check the count.

Are spacers in the post kit?

They are not part of the boxed post kit, so add packs to your order.

What other gaps are available?

Packs are also offered at 1/4 in. and 1/2 in.

Can I mix gaps on one fence?

Using one gap throughout keeps the slat lines even from panel to panel.

Installation

Step 1

Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.

Step 2

Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.

Step 3

Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
