Why buy one long length
Most 2x2 posts come pre-cut to one height. When you are topping a wall, stepping down a slope or working with an odd layout, one 24 ft piece lets you cut every post to its own height and keeps leftovers low. Need only a handful of posts, all the same height? The 6 ft 2x2 post may be easier.

Fence posts versus gate posts
This profile is meant for fences and wall toppers. Gates get dedicated posts instead: the boxed 2x2 in. hinge and L-side kits, or the larger 3x3 and 4x4 in. square posts. Those boxed hinge kits are wall-mount only and arrive with caps, baseplates and strikers of their own. When a project mixes fence and gate, ask Globus Gates to confirm the post for each spot.
Cutting and delivery
Use a saw meant for aluminum and cut square so caps sit flat. Plan your cuts before ordering. A 24 ft piece is long, so make sure you can receive and store it, and confirm delivery with us.
Can I use it as a gate post?
It is designed for fences and wall toppers. Ask us about gate posts.
