C-Channel Kit 18 ft – Black

Cut several channel pieces from one long length. This 18 ft kit bundles the C-channel with its cover and cap in black 6063-T6 aluminum and is the one specified for HD gates as well as fences and wall toppers.

Long channel for HD gate work

The channel grips the slat ends, keeps them lined up and leaves a neat edge on the frame, while the cover closes the open face. The C-Channel Kit 18 ft – Black is the longest in the channel lineup and the only one specified for HD gates, both swing and sliding, in addition to fence and wall topper work.

Its coating spec matches the black 2×4 HD frame profiles, so everything in a black heavy-duty gate looks uniform.

How the lengths differ

6 ft and 78 in.: for shorter frames
8 ft: walk-through gates, sliding gates, fences, wall toppers
18 ft: HD walk-through and HD sliding gates, fences, wall toppers

The long length suits wide gate frames and long runs. Plan your cuts on paper before ordering, and ask the Globus Gates team if you are unsure how many kits a gate needs.

Building an HD gate

Pair the channel with an HD frame such as the 6 ft x 6 ft HD gate frame kit, and confirm your slat profile fits the channel.

Are spacers included?

No. Optional black spacers come in 3/8 in., 1/2 in., 3/4 in., 1 in., 2 in. and 4 in.; ask us whether you need them.

Can I cut it?

Yes, the 18 ft length is meant to give you several pieces.

Step 1

Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.

Step 2

Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.

Step 3

Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
