Who this gate kit suits
The boxed Profile 60 T&G 6 x 6 ft DIY walk gate kit is aimed at homeowners who want to hide bins, AC units, pool equipment or a private patio behind a wide walk-through gate. Each 6 in. Profile 60 slat interlocks with the next one, so the finished leaf reads as one smooth panel with no sightlines.
In the box
- A DIY frame kit sized 6ā² x 6ā²: upright gate frame with its cap, top and bottom rails, a pair of heavy duty hinges and a stopper (the frame also accepts the Universal Slat Adapter)
- Profile 60 slats, 0.047 wall, 11 pieces at 62 in.

Everything is 6063-T6 aluminum finished in AAMA 2604 super-durable powder coat, so there is no sealing or repainting, and nothing warps or cracks the way timber does.
Posts and hardware
Posts and a latch are bought separately. There are five post choices: Hinge Post + L-Side Post for wall-to-wall openings, the 3.15 post for wall or concrete footing, the 2-way post for wall mount only, the 3 in. HD post for concrete footing and the 4 in. HD post for a freestanding setup. A closed leaf this size takes more wind than a gapped one, so on an exposed site ask the Globus Gates team which post to use.
Planning tips
Allow for post widths when you measure, and clear the swing path, since a leaf this wide needs a big arc. Check local rules for gates and follow the supplied instructions.

Do I have to cut the slats?
No. All 11 slats arrive at 62 in. for this frame.
Is there any gap between slats?
No. The tongue-and-groove profile closes fully.
