The middle size

Globus Gates lists six cover spacer sizes for C-Channel Kits. This 3/4 in. part falls between the 1/2 in. and 1 in. options. Like the others, it is black aluminum and entirely optional, used together with the kit's channel, cover and cap.

Channel kits it goes with

Cover spacers are grouped with three C-Channel Kit lengths:

78 in.: walk gates, sliding gates, fences and wall toppers
8 ft: the same four uses
18 ft: heavy duty walk and sliding gates, plus fences and wall toppers

The gap each spacer creates depends on your slat profile and channel kit, so send us those details and the Globus Gates team will tell you which one to buy. Include the kit length, how many channels you have and your slat type when you write, and we will also tell you how many pieces to order.

Build quality

It is 6063-T6 aluminum finished in black AAMA 2604 powder coat, so it matches black channel kits.

Installation

Step 1

Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.

Step 2

Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.

Step 3

Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
