The finishing piece of a fence

A top rail is the last structural member on a fence, locking the panels into one unit and giving the line a crisp edge. At 18 ft, this black rail covers long stretches with fewer joints, which looks more continuous and speeds up installation. It works for new fences and for upgrading existing ones.

Why aluminum on top

Unlike wood or bare steel, the rail will not rot, rust or need repainting. The powder coat is made to stand up to sun, rain and general weathering without fading, and a simple wash keeps it looking right. It is light to lift into place yet adds real stability to the panels below.

Installation tips

Make sure every post and panel is fixed firmly before fitting the rail.
Measure the run and trim the rail where needed.
Lay it across the panel tops and fasten with suitable brackets, screws or connectors.
Check that it runs level and straight, then tighten all connections.
