ALU TANK™ Architectural Automatic Louver System

Open the roof for sunshine, then close it when clouds roll in. ALU TANK uses motorized 8 in. aluminum louvers on a 6063-T6 frame, with gutters planned into the structure so water has somewhere to go.

A roof that adjusts

Fixed covers make you choose between sun and shade. With ALU TANK, the blades rotate at the push of a button: open for light and airflow, closed for a tight roof line when weather turns. Gutters and drainage are planned as part of the frame, and posts, beams, louvers and accessories are designed as one system.

Sizes to start from

Starter: 10x10, 10x12 or 12x12 ft for compact patios
Standard: 12x16, 12x20 or 16x16 ft for dining zones and poolside shade
Large: 16x20, 20x20 or 24x24 ft for big outdoor living and commercial seating

Large spans, wind loads, cantilevers and attachment conditions may call for engineering review.

Upgrades

Choose from LED channel, strip and recessed lighting, a beam for recessed lights, ceiling fan planning, a rain sensor, and remote or app control.

From idea to package

Select the tier closest to your space, then send Globus Gates dimensions, photos, how it will attach, your color and any notes. We review engineering needs and put the full material package together for your site.

Can it attach to my house?

Yes. Depending on your home's structure and the engineering, it can connect to the house or stand on its own.

Does it handle rain?

The louvers close for weather protection and the frame includes gutter planning. Final water handling depends on slope, drainage path and installation.

Do contractors get support?

Yes, builders and designers can work with our team on project packages.

Installation

Step 1

Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.

Step 2

Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.

Step 3

Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
