Keep the front of your patio wide open while still getting dappled shade overhead. The ALU FLOAT system carries a fixed aluminum slat roof on a cantilever layout, so furniture and views are not broken up by front posts.

Outdoor kitchens, pool lounges, fire-pit seating and restaurant patios all work better when the front edge is clear. ALU FLOAT is an architectural aluminum cover that cantilevers its roof out from the support side, so nothing stands at the leading edge. Overhead, fixed aluminum slats break up direct sun and let air move through.

Starter: 8x10, 10x10 or 10x12 ft, for compact patios and grill areas
Standard: 12x12, 12x16 or 12x20 ft, for kitchens and lounge zones
Large: 16x16, 16x20 or 20x20 ft, for big living areas, rooftops and hospitality spaces

Every tier is planned around your real dimensions, projection, loads, attachment and post spots.

Options

Add LED channel, strip or recessed lights, a beam for recessed lighting, ceiling fan planning, gutter and drainage planning, or custom powder coat colors.

How a project comes together

Pick the tier closest to your space, then send Globus Gates your measurements, photos and attachment details. Because cantilevered roofs carry unusual loads, slat spacing, framing and supports are reviewed for each site.

Does the slat roof keep out rain?

It is designed for filtered shade and airflow, not a sealed roof.

Can I add lighting later?

Lighting and wiring paths are easiest to plan with the layout, so mention them early.

Installation

Step 1

Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.

Step 2

Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.

Step 3

Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
