The open option

Our spacer packs come in three gaps: 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in. This is the widest, so a finished fence lets through noticeably more light and air than the tighter layouts. Each one fits between neighboring boards within the 2.75 2-way post.

Part of the half-inch Alu 40 kit

Our boxed Alu 40 8x6 fence kit with half-inch spacing ships with one of these 30-piece packs. Order more when extending that fence, or when piecing a run together from individually bought posts and board cartons.

The Alu 60 T&G 8x6 kit interlocks with a top rail and does not need a spacer pack. Ask Globus Gates before adding spacers to a tongue-and-groove fence.

Ordering tips

Choose one gap and use it along the entire run so board lines stay consistent. Check the minimum gap for your slat before ordering. Count board rows and posts to estimate packs, and let us check the math if your layout is custom.

Are these included with the post kit?

No, spacer packs are bought separately from the post kit.

Need a tighter gap?

Compare the 3/8 in. pack, which is also offered in White.

Can I use these on Alu 40?

Yes, a 1/2 in. gap Alu 40 kit uses this exact pack.

Installation

Step 1

Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.

Step 2

Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.

Step 3

Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
