A flexible building block

With its 4 inch face, the Alu 40 gives strong horizontal bands and fewer seams than skinny boards. Sold individually in black, this 8 ft piece lets you buy to the drawing: different row counts on different walls, a gate needing an odd number of slats, or a couple of spares for later repairs.

Gen 2.0 versus Gen 3.0

This is a Gen 2.0 single-piece slat. Current boxed fence kits are built on Gen 3.0 slats (for example, the boxed Gen 3.0 Alu 40 slat). Extending a fence you already own? Tell Globus Gates which system you have so slats, brackets and spacers match.

FAQ

How do I work out quantities?

Work out how many rows each section takes based on height and gap, then add allowance for cuts.

Is longer stock available?

Yes. There is a 24 ft version in black that cuts down on joins over wide openings, while the 8 ft size is the easiest to carry and store.

Installation

Step 1

Measure the opening and check what the product mounts to.

Step 2

Assemble the pre-cut parts with the included hardware. No welding.

Step 3

Set, level and fasten, then fit any lock or accessories.
